Antwatch is an Overwatch Community that was created by alpha testers of the Stadium playtest. Antwatch hosts multiple LFG text/vc channels for your use, as well as a bustling community of fellow Overwatch players. Join the colony of ants today at antwatch.online.
Welcome to Antwatch! The idea of Antwatch was created as a joke within the Overwatch Stadium Alpha Test Discord server and spiraled into thousands of ant jokes, puns, and general chaos. What started as a small throwaway joke quickly became one of the main talking points of the server, with people constantly adding on to it and creating more and more ant-related content. The joke snowballed into something bigger, and eventually it became its own thing entirely.
As the Overwatch Stadium Tests came to a close, the official server shut down conversation for future use. Since that server was no longer available as a place to talk, hundreds of Ants (testers) made Antwatch a second home. It gave everyone a way to keep in contact with each other and to carry on the same energy that began back in the test days. If you see a Stadium Alpha Tester around the server, don’t be shy, say hi.
Antwatch has multiple LFG channels set up so you can quickly find teammates and jump into games. Whether you’re looking to play comp, arcade, quick play, or even custom lobbies, there’s a channel for it. Along with that, there are several Overwatch discussion channels for talking about patch notes, balance changes, hero updates, or just sharing thoughts and reactions about what’s going on in the game.
Antwatch also runs events and activities that aren’t just about playing. Feeling artsy? Try your hand at one of our seasonal art contests where people can show off their creativity. Past contests have included everything from digital art to traditional drawings, memes, edits, and more, with the community voting on their favorites. There are movie nights where we pick something to watch together and we run tournaments that range from casual for-fun brackets to more structured competitions with signups, and we occasionally put together special modes or custom lobbies to mix it up. Giveaways/prizing may include things like gift cards, Discord Nitro, or small community rewards. We also do puzzles or community challenges, where people can work together to solve clues, hunt for hidden messages, or compete to be the first to figure something out. On top of all that, other small events pop up depending on what people want to try out at the time.
If you’re looking for an Overwatch community to call home, Antwatch is the spot.
