Need a hand? Start with Sam: tap Ask Sam in your ElfHosted dashboard and ask in plain words. He looks at your actual apps instead of guessing. Rather talk to a person? Our team and the helpful humans here are around the clock, across time zones.

When you join, read the welcome prompts: they unlock the support channels. Before you ask, open Sam and press Info for support, then paste his summary into your message. It saves everyone a round of "what does the log say?".

We're family-friendly and carefully moderated, so bring the kids' questions too.

For the tinkerers: ElfHosted grew out of Funky Penguin's Geek Cookbook, and plenty of members run their own setups with Kubernetes or Docker. Start an interesting topic and you'll get opinionated, good-natured feedback from people with a wide range of experience, and a look behind the scenes at how the elves keep everything running.
